Comfort Inn & Suites Glenwood Springs On The River

Short, dismissive, and rude from the moment we walked up to the front desk to check in. Answered every simple question in a condescending way. You can have the nicest hotel in the world and that kind of treatment will get you a 1 star review. It was a shame the hotel across the street was all booked because they knew what hospitality meant when we walked over there to see if we could get a room after that interaction.

My daughters and I were celebrating a girls weekend in Glenwood. I change reservations from a family owned hotel to the comfort suites, hoping we would enjoy nice rooms and breakfast but instead upon check-in, we had a very, very rude guy that took forever to get us checked into our room, he made a phone call right in the middle of checking us in to let everyone know that he was covering for someone who didnt show up. Breakfast was nothing special and upon check out I discovered I left a brand new lavender eye mask in the pullout sofa sleeper , so I tried calling the hotel and the same guy that checked us in said the maids probably threw it away. I asked him if he would check and he hung up on me so I tried calling back several more times and he kept picking up and hanging up the next day. I tried getting that email for the manager and three times I was given the wrong email address , I have been in hospitality industry and this is not the way you treat guests. We were never greeted during our weekend stay once by anyone at the front desk there was a female there, playing on her phone and the rude guy needs to go. We will never stay here again because of how we were treated. Nearby activities: Everything must be by vehicle. Nothing is within walking distance.

Probably the worst hotel experience I've had. After checking in and dropping off all our bags in the room we went out to grab some food. When we got back, there we're other people walking out of our room. They gave another couple keys to the same room, and then my key to the room wouldn't work. The guy working the front desk didn't offer much of an apology or explanation. Glad it was a friendly couple and none of our stuff got taken / luckly we weren't in the room changing or something when they came in. Mini fridge was very loud and strange noises all night. Also paid through Priceline in full and they tried to charge me more when I checked out. Would not stay again

Rooms: The only problem I have with this hotel is doesn't have a commercial bus parking

Nobody at a front desk, just have to use phone where helpless girl trying to make 250 dollars for early check in. Never had issues, but today was something else.
