The service department at Vacaville GMC is filled with the most helpful, thoughtful, and professional staff of any service department Ive ever encountered. A good buying experience is important, but the service afterwards is what brings customers back, and ultimately, what matters most.

I called to look at a C8 Corvette. Gavin answered and arranged to show me the car the next day. He had it detailed and waiting for me. While discussing the sale he let it slip that he had come in on his day off to help me. I named my price and they made it work. Great service and a great car!

The salesman, Gavin, was very courteous and professional. No issues there and my experience should not reflect poorly on him as this is clearly a managment issue. The problem was the beautiful Lexus LS500 that I would have bought had a warning light on. The salesman said management told him I was getting such a deal that even though I would have to take it to Lexus to get it fixed, I was still getting a deal. In addition, there was like a 1950 dollar edition for theft prevention that was non negotiable. I probably would have paid that, but I cant buy a vehicle with a warning light on. He said its a used car with no warranty. I agree, but I dont expect to buy one with a warning light on from a reputable dealership. The price was low. This has to be the reason. Beware. If something seems to good to be true, it probably is. I wasted a trip. I will ask every dealer going forward if the check engine or a warning light is on before I make the trip. I gave two stars due to the great salesperson.
