I bought some floor lamps at Lamps Plus for my new house. I got lucky to stumble upon their closing sales, but sad at the same time as they are closing the store because this is pretty much my go-to lamp store in town. My family got some great advice from the staff. The light specialist that helped us that day was a tall black man with braids (too bad we didnt catch his name). He gave us advice on the pros and cons of each type of lamps and gave us some space and time to decide, but hes always willing to answer any questions. In the end, we got 3 floor lamps and like them very much. Probably came back if we need more lamps. Hopefully the shop wont close yet.

I had a great experience with Lamp Plus. I was looking for a desk lamp for my home office. I went online and selected one and the very next morning, Joseph contacted me. We made an appointment for me to visit the shop later that day so I could see the lamp in person. I purchased it and put it together at home very easily. A salesperson helped carry the lamp out to my car. I liked the desk lamp so much that the very next day, I purchased the same lamp for my daughter for her home office. If you want good service, and lots of choices, I highly recommend that you try Lamp Plus at the San Mateo store.

Lots of lighting options but sales staff did not seem too interested. We were obviously willing but clerk didn't want to go through online catalog to get details on light that they had photo posted on wall.
