Had a good experience with replacing our 47-year-old deteriorating residential water service line. Tim Vu et al were transparent, communicative, responsive and objective despite some challenges working with our HOA and nearby gas lines. Came up with an outside-the-box solution to do essentially the same thing that reduced cost all round and that was approved by the City.

When I saw water leaking from my garage wall, I called RPS. Unlike the other plumbers that I had contacted, RPS made no excuses about being busy / short-staffed / etc. They sent Tim Vu out to my house, and as promised, he arrived within 30 minutes. In about 7 minutes of his arrival, Tim diagnosed the problem, found the root cause (water heater), and mitigated the problem. A day later, he completed replacing my water heater. However, that is not all! While he was working on the water heater, I requested him to replace a toilet that was leaking water from the tank. This one was a bit of a challenge because there is a counter above the toilet tank, so only toilets below a certain height fit there. Tim gladly agreed to the extra work (after, of course, consulting with his team), and took it upon himself to find a new toilet of the proper size. He found one on the same day, and he brought it in and installed it. While it fit very well, unfortunately, it was one of those ones with the flush button on the top of the tank, so reaching the flush button was difficult (due to the counter right above it). Tim was not one to be defeated, so he shopped around some more, found one that is far more usable, and replaced the earlier toilet. He did it all within about two days. Throughout the repair work, Tim was patient with me, and answered all my questions. Service: Boiler repair
