Management is the best! Nothing but fast responses and are very eager to provide help. They are easily approachable and are very friendly and do not hesitate to assist.They also provided a lot of information when asked questions about the units and were very honest throughout the whole process.I highly recommend Charlotte Park.

I recently moved in here on 06/24/2022 and so far I can say that these apartments are so nice. They are located in a calm and quiet area. I want to give a big thank you to Uyen Dang and Delcia Felix for helping me with the move in process.

CAUTION: HONEST REVIEW!!! I've been a typically normal tenant here, quiet & followed whatever rules they may have in place. But I'm observant & both ROEM development & FPI property management should be ashamed at the slum they've allowed this place to devolve into. But for the PEOPLE Let's dive into the pros & cons:Pros: -a bit more inexpensive than other places as it's a LOW INCOME (AFFORDABLE HOUSING) property (but rental increase letters were recently sent as this building is EXEMPT from rent stabilization)- Great soundproofing on windows...it's always loud, shut them so it's not. - Elevators are always working & are cleaned regularly!-Mailroom has surveillance.-No issue with phone signal or Xfinity setup-free water-Close to stores-Close to parksCons: -It's unsafe!!!-Cheap appliances (not modern, no granite)-Its always FILTHY!!!-Online rental payment system is clunky & doesn't update in a timely manner after rental increases-Cant tour before you commit (can't walk grounds, can't see apt)-No central air/heat. (High utilities: windows have to remain shut due to constant noise)-Management doesn't work on weekends or before 1:30pm on property. If you need them, you wait-Terrible parking (skinny spaces, blind spots)- Fire alarms & security not to code - No dogs allowed but EVERYONE has one, incessant barking-Management will lull you into a false sense of security, then allow staff to relay uninformed messages & threaten tenants for non-contractual things. It's so strange!-No in-unit laundry. Laundry room machines will steal your hard earned money = soaking moldy clothes.-Gym has yoga stuff & that's it.-Library is full of fake books! I'm telling you this one is the strangest! The property devs (ROEM) boast that every property has a library to promote learning...All but some of the books have plain white covers & that's because they've been turned inside out. If you look inside, ALL OF THE BOOKS ARE THE EXACT SAME. A facade! There is no learning or enrichment in that "library". It's locked most of the time. Safety & Security: Security is a lie, you call, they never come. Bikes & cars have been stolen. Perimeter doors are often wedged open: unsavory characters & thieves come in to vandalize & steal. Cameras were installed near elevators but they're clearly fake or inoperable based on their lack of sufficient cabling. Broken doors: alarms squeal all day & night. The fire alarm system has been "in trouble" which means not up to code, in fireman language. It's prone to go off in the middle of the night causing the entire community to evacuate four hours. Believe it or not, the supervised & unsupervised kids damage play equipment & furniture in the courtyard. They leave so much trash behind & no one cleans up.Noise: This animal free community has the LOUDEST most disruptive population of constantly barking dogs I've ever experienced. The homeless who dwell in the back area loudly rummage through abandoned appliances & furniture & they fight!! No quiet hours or signage is posted at the playground with respect for courtyard tenants. While playing & yelling is cute & normal, children SCREAM constantly, & bang rocks on the metal play equipment. Whistles & hazardous gunpowder poppers have now become a popular play item. No quiet hours so people party on weeknights loudly on balconies late. Fire alarms chirp minute by minute all day & night. It's been left up to each tenant to tend to their own battery replacements for their ceiling fire alarms, but many are English second language & some are elderly, so they hesitate to contact maintenance for help reaching the alarm units. No reminders are sent to the tenants.Cleanliness & Maintenance: the maintenance team is nice, but they are spread too thin across properties. Dogs are allowed to relieve themselves on the fake grass where the children play. The carpet in the hallways is so NASTY! There are trash juice skid marks all down the hall. Smelly, slippery & discolored. Broken laundry machines: steal your money & mgmt advise you to "contact your bank & report it as fraud" (not a solution). Play park is ALWAYS A MESS! Children make a fort out of the furniture & play & fall on it. It's dangerous! Demand to walk the grounds & garage before you commit.Office Staff: Kind mgr but staff are not eloquent & lack good judgment. You'll find letters on all the doors demanding change or QUIT (do this or we will kick you out) language as if renters have no rights. They'll lie about the simplest things before & during signing: (unit availability, parking spot location, laundry cost, rent increases, move date, they also stall & lack organization skills. With Dels##, not a SINGLE thing she has ever said or written is true & it's so extremely odd to me because it's unnecessary. She's seems nice enough upon first meet, but it's sweet in a condescending way. Don't live here
