Very good staff. I wanted to personally thank Robyn for helping me get a remote battery. She came and hand delivered it before my shift so I wouldnt be locked out of the garage. Thank you so much, your help and hard work is appreciated. You went above and beyond and it was super nice of you. The maintenance staff and really everyone that works here is also very nice. Been here 3 years now and its a nice place to live.

It saddens me to have to leave a negative review, but Essex are thieves. Do NOT give this company your money. I gave a security deposit for an apartment and cancelled within 24 hours to apply to another apartment within the same company. The sales person, Blanca, assured me that I would receive a refund on the first security deposit, however I never did. I reached out over five times to try and resolve this issue, but no one was able to assist me. Receiving multiple automated responses made me feel like I was just a quick money grab. I filed a claim with the bank and it was futile. It's absolutely unacceptable for a company to steal hard working people's money. It is shameful how this company stays afloat.

They pretty much steal your deposit they charged us pretty much everything for a carpet clean when it didn't even need it we were barely home I worked mid shift so by time I wake up shower eat go to work get home and sleep hopefully they start firing people that are in charge as I'm not the only one that went through this

[UPDATE] James Zhou who is the area manager reached out to me after the review. James was very understanding and cordial throughout our conversations and was able to reduce the excess charge a bit. James is the only reason I'm increasing the original review from 1 to 3 stars. As far as the original complaint goes, they are still valid. There needs to be more transparency about the cleaning charges. Be prepared to shell out a hefty sum for odor removal if you ever decide to use the kitchen. [ORIGINAL] They take a great pleasure in scamming you, BEWARE!! I stayed here for a little under a year. Gave them 30 day notice, agreed to pay lease termination fee. I knew I was never going to get my $600 security deposit but I never thought they would go as far as charging me 3 times security deposit for cleaning and odor removal charges. Never owned pets and neither did we smoke and yet to be charged so much is plain extortion. Talked to a person regarding the rental dispute and they tell me that they just do the paperwork and are not connected to the property. It feels they deliberately tire you out filing a dispute. I have attached the pictures of the apt the day we left. PS: They also have a leaky roof, just in case you're still brave enough to live here.
