The Lex Apartments

Non responsive and extremely unhelpful leasing office. First floor is kept clean for future tenants to get a false sense of cleanliness, upkeep and comfort of the community but that is most certainly not the case. The higher up you go, the worse it gets. Description says smoke free community but I have never lived in an apartment complex with so many smokers and drug addicts. Amenities are hardly ever available. Used to offer free EV charging but now spots are rented out monthly for $175. Save yourself time, stress and a significant amount of money and DO NOT rent in this dump. It is not worth it.

INCOMING LAWSUIT! Background checks on all applicants without following California law. Not to mention, most amenities here are shut down to save money!! Also, garage door is broken!! Also, they will charge you to use the EV Chargers! DO NOT APPLY HERE!

Firepits- CLOSED to save gas costs Hot tub- CLOSED for three weeks Pool- HEAT TURNED OFF to save gas costs Yoga room- CLOSED ON Mondays, Sundays, and everyday else after 6 PM Conference room- CLOSED ON Mondays, Sundays, and everyday else after 6 PM Games room-CLOSED ON Mondays, Sundays, and everyday else after 6 PM The amenities here are a joke. Had we known this was the case before moving in, we would've chosen another property, preferably one not managed by Equity Apartments.

As others have said, management decided to penny pinch but closing or restricting access to many apartment amenities. They switched off the fire pits, turned the pool heating off, and decided to replaster the hot tub in the middle of winter. They also restrict access to the yoga room, conference room and games room to only business hours, when virtually everyone is at work and no one can use it.

Awful experience, nobody is happy in this place. Poor maintenance and security, bad service and irresponsible staffs, no security a lot of stealing and break ins. Dont choose this place. Waste of money. They increase the rent 300-400$ each year!!!!
