We signed up for a tour in February, one we had also taken the year prior and were excited, planning things around that day of anticipated fun. Two weeks prior to the tour, we were online looking to sign up for another class and noticed that the tour was not even on the calendar anymore. We had already signed up, got our confirmation and paid the $250. We called to check on it because we were concerned and they told us that it had been cancelled and that "they had a lot of people to call" which is why they hadn't reached out to us yet. 22 people were signed up for the tour. That is not a lot of people to call, especially when we had already made the commitment. We are incredibly disappointed in this failure to act as a business should and will not be supporting Great News in the future.

I love love love this store. It seems like they have everything kitchen related in this store. I always love to look around at all the kitchen accessories. I would love to have all the baking tools and pans haha!!! I try to come here when I am in the Pacific Beach area.

This place is amazing! They have all of the cookware and gadgets you never knew you needed. Plus, the staff actually know what they are talking about, and can answer any and all of your cooking questions, and recommend exactly what you need for your culinary lifestyle. They also have cooking classes in the back that are really fun! Every time I have gone I have come away with some awesome recipes.

We are very lucky to have this independent cooking store and cooking school in San Diego. The store isn't huge, but they have a great selection of high quality cooking/baking items. They also have great promotions throughout the year on their products. Their cooking classes are excellent and cover a wide variety of foods and cooking styles.
