I took my car in for a diagnosis of my power steering and after a "visual" inspection and $225 I still don't know what to do with it. I also got the works I don't know if that got done either but car is running better. In the reports from the diagnosis I got more questions about the problem. No diagnosis!

I've been trying to get a hold of Alex Perez, the service manager, for 2 days. My husband brought his truck in on Friday 3/29 for service and when he went to pick it up, the techs didn't even check to see why his engine light was on. Now we are needing to bring it back a second time for a second service. As mechanics, you would think they would notify us that the check engine light was on and let us know what the issue was and ask if we wanted it fixed since the truck was already in their possession. UPDATED 4/5/24: Alex Perez, the Service Manager made it right and took great care of us. Great service by him. Ask for Alex if youre ever at this Ford getting your vehicle serviced.

I went to North County Ford to buy a Mustang Mach-E that they had advertised for $40k. We were helped by Sam who was a very competent and kind individual. The issues began once Mike the finance manager got involved. He is a smug rude person with very bad people skills. I'm not sure why he has a job helping people. I asked him a simple question. What's the bottom-line price? He danced around the question multiple times and refused to answer it. He then told me he would not be talking to me and put his hand in front of my face. I said, I don't need a dog and pony show, just the actual price of the vehicle." He got upset and continued belittling me to the point that poor Sam was cringing. I felt sorry for him. When we were leaving the stealership he came out to our car and said he really didn't care if we came back. Don't you worry Mikey neither of us will ever return to North County Ford. I live less than a mile away. I made a call to Encinitas Ford. They gave me a straight up price with no yada yada. We drove there immediately and drove the new car away witnin one hour.
