Mikes Boat Rental

My family and I were staying at Bass Lake for five days and our sons wanted to try tubing and skiing. We were put off by the high prices of the two resorts on the lake and happened to find Mike's Boat Rental by accident on Google Maps when searching for fishing spots around the lake. I was suspicious at first because it was so random and there were no reviews I could easily find, but sent Mike a text to see what came of it.
After getting all the info we needed from him, we made a reservation two days later to meet him at the public boat ramp at the other end of the lake from Pines Resort, which took about 20 minutes along a slow twisty road. Mike was there prepping the boat and he gave a run through of the it and let us know how to operate it safely. His prices are much better than either of the resorts (almost half) and he didn't require any huge insurance deposits, only a small one the day before, with the balance due when you pick it up. He puts the boat in the water and his helper takes it out when you drop it off at the end of the day. All in all Mike's Boat Rentals turned out to be a great find. Next time we are at Bass Lake we will rent from him again. Thanks Mike!
