El Con Cobbler

I have been going to El con cobbler two get shoes repaired often on for 50 years. (That number frightens me a little.) They always do fabulous work and I feel that their prices are extremely reasonable.

Awesome customer service! I brought in a pair of motorcycle boots and they got them fixed up and looking fresh. I also kind of needed them short notice and they were able to meet that demand and the price was not outrageous 10 out of 10 would highly recommend

This place is horrible. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL now that they have a new location and owner/operator. I have been going here for years and will NEVER be back. They lost 2 pairs of my large shoes for two weeks. I was really nice and said I would come back to get the shoes when they are found (initially). I had to call repeatedly to see if my shoes were found. When he finally found my shoes, he was very rude and told me it was my fault because they were in a bag. Their pick up procedure is archaic and unorganized. They do not take CC cards either. You need to bring a money order or a check which would be fine, if they knew where my shoes were. Getting a money order is an inconvenience when your shoes may be lost. I'm definitely not giving a check with my address to this unprofessional rude man. He also said that I had to go rifle through their shop to find my shoes and was very rude about it (before they were found). I could tell you more of the details of this terrible encounter, but I feel as though this is more than enough. I will NEVER be back after years of loyalty to the old operator/owner.
