Dr. Patel WAS great, she unfortunately is no longer treating anything to do with TMJ or Jaw problems. I strongly dislike the fact that they only schedule on Wednesdays for the Cave Creek Rd. location and if you need a different day you have to drive all around the valley. The new jaw doctor is a jerk who is full of himself. Left them, trying a different clinic in town.

BEWARE. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS OFFICE AS YOUR CARE PROVIDER. I have had a horrible experience with the staff. Dr Patel is very kind, her medical assistants are very kind. The check in staff, the office manager, billing however are horrible and rude. The office manager hung up abruptly when i was trying to explain things to her as well as ask questions. No compassion whatsoever. They also seem to nickel and dime you as much as possible. In the beginning they assured me that they accepted my insurance. Once i was checked in and seen, they started hitting me with all of these charges in order for me to get what i needed to take care of the problem i had. Shortly after i had personal issues to where i had to reschedule a few appointments. In trying to explain to the office manager Lori, she was very indifferent to what i was saying and immediately cut me off and pretty much hung up on me. Save your money, time and mental state, go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!

I would not give this place the time of day. They are not the greatest place to be for pain management. They argue with you about wether or not you are having interactions with drugs or even side effects from them. They take forever in the waiting room. I went there and sat for three hours several times. And there were no other people waiting. I took a urine test and they accused me of having a narcotic in my system that I never took before. They yelled and screamed and took me being closed doors then took it out in the front of other people sitting there. They refused to send my primary care physician notes from my office visit and threatened to not send them if I called them one more time. Please don't go there it isn't worth your time.

I have had TMJ for 30+ years. During that time I have seen numerous specialists. Dr. S. Patel is 1 of the best! I am surprised by the negative comments regarding the office staff. I find them helpful, friendly, and efficient. The dental assistants are also competent, friendly, and helpful.

I would rate my doctor as 5 stars! I never felt rushed and the doctor and medical staff took the time to answer all my questions. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive.
