Phenomenal experience with the Monroe branch! Excellent customer service all of my questions & concerns answered in great detail. First of all, Crystal is fantastic. 5 stars for her!!! She fixed my issue noted below within about an hour of posting this review. If ANYONE has any issues, please speak with her; shes always helpful and sweet. Shes also working on fixing the irregularities in this feature, and I can now come in and make a principal-only payment every month. They also refunded me the $ amount. THANK YOU CRYSTAL!!!!!!!!!
OLD REVIEW:
I only have one issue, and its with another person and a big one. I had received a car loan and was told that all extra payments would come off my principal. Fast forward 6 months, making a total of $2,642.35 additional payments and only receiving most of it, not all of it, off my principal.
Last month, I worked with Liliana on adding savings accounts, and I asked if all of the extra payments could be fixed to the principal only since, again, I was initially told that this was what would be done. After an extra hour or so, she said to me that all of my old payments had been taken care of and the amounts taken off the principal only, as I had initially asked. She also told me that a button in my account should allow me to place my extra payments toward my principal. This button must not have been activated yet, and to call in every month to take care of my additional payments.
Fast forward to this month. I called in to make an additional payment. Unfortunately, the teller told me I could only take my extra payment off my principal if I came into a branch. I even worked with her and paid online, and the principal only button DID NOT miraculously pop up. Then I told her what Liliana told me the previous month. She spoke with her, and Liliana lied. Basically, all of my $2,642.35 extra payments had NOT COME OFF OF THE PRINCIPAL ONLY.
