Worlock AC Heating was so quick and efficient getting out to our home to check out our air conditioner that was not cooling. Despite it being the Memorial weekend, they were at our doorstop within 1 hour! Bill Worlock, owner, explained the problem in easy to understand words. 1st class service and would highly recommend! I have already recommended to someone and they hired Worlock as well and are currently cooling in their home in this extremely high summer heat! Service: AC installation

Fixed my AC issue, but was way overcharged. Was charged around $600 for a job that should have been around $150-$400 tops. Beware.

Un-biased review worth reading, I turned them down before spending a penny.
Firstly, if you have no cold air they use pressure-sales tactics. "Only 1 crane is available for 3 days from now. We need to know now to secure our spot." Don't rush a $5,000+ purchase no matter the case. Even at 110+ it's worth spending money on a day or two in hotel to ensure satisfaction.
Next strike, not even investigating the attic. A LOT of AC issues in older AZ homes are caused by antiquated supporting systems feeding a unit that is choking. If they don't bother checking the ducting RUN! 90% of my problems were caused by the ducting being too small which stressed the unit. My quote included no changes to existing ductwork; essentially paying for 10% of a fix for the same cost.
Additionally, asking for the well-being of my animals I asked if there was anything I could do to get the system to hobble along for a few hours until installation can be done. The answer was nothing and it was a ticking time bomb. After a few tweaks the old unit is running strong and I have no concerns of it going out.
Lastly, I know electronics, plumbing, and fluid dynamics (how air moves) but I choose not to sweat a living on an Arizona roof. The tech (also the proprietor) showed me pictures that had me asking questions that the response made zero sense. If your main control board dies you have zero control over the unit. My control board was bad but the blower and cooling fan were circulating. The temperature on the board was 150* which they stated as a concern. Electronics can easily stand 300+ and my computer in the AC sits at 152* with a chipset intended for magnitudes of less current than an AC unit.
Coming from a mom-and-pop situation I have a soft spot for companies like this, but there were so many red flags I can't consciously not speak up. At minimum preventing one person from being duped of their hard earned cash is worth my own time after walking away without spending a dime. I hope this speaks volumes as my first 1-start review, I try and only write a review if I have 6-star service but we can only give 5 here. $6-10k is a lot to spend and make sure you feel you're getting your money's worth.
