I wish there was less of a rating I could give. My daughter was scheduled to stay here for her then upcoming year at Alabama. Unfortunately she ended up hospitalized with serious health issues. This prevented her from attending and she needed to move home. As you could imagine this was devastating to her. This alone was a huge mental blow. We contacted the cottages months before she was scheduled to move in. They seemed to care and this was great! We sent in all the medical records and requested documents . Only to be told that unfortunately she would still be obligated to pay the entire years lease . They informed us that basically nothing can terminate the lease other than death. Absolutely shameful! The cottages claim to have your best interest and future in mind but beware , there is nothing further from the truth. This has ruined her credit and causes endless amounts of stress. Shes been set up on payment plans and is belittled and pressured into paying more than the agreed to amount every single month that she calls to pay it. We do keep a record however and if her health is further affected by the stress this wonderful establishment puts on her , a lawyer will be contacted .

Our student hasn't even lived here yet (lease begins Fall '24) and we are already experiencing calls going unanswered and emails not being returned. WOW! We have been trying for months with a dire need to change the roommate preferences, but cannot even do that.
