        Was looking for a pediatrician and they couldnt take my baby because I didnt deliver at Thomas Hospital. Anyone else had this problem? They said we had to see her as a newborn. My baby is 3 week old premie.

        I transitioned my 2 kids to this pediatric office after my health insurance changed. They were both seen by Dr. Burns and it was discussed that my oldest son was on anxiety medications. When I called to get a refill, she says that though we did discuss him being on these medications she did not agree to continue prescribing them and he should see a psychiatrist. Which is all fine HOWEVER she didnt think I needed to know this during the visit in which we discussed him being on these medications and her being his primary care doctor. Totally unprofessional and leaves my child in limbo for medications that CANNOT be abruptly discontinued.
