My husband and I have been using Kent Cleaners since moving to the Richmond District about 9 years ago. They are friendly, efficient, organized, on time, accurate and attentive to the pieces of clothing and do an excellent job with dry cleaning, laundry and tailoring services. We have also asked them to fix clothing items and the mending is so good that you can barely see it when done! They even fixed my daughter's stuffy so many times and make it look almost new!

I have tried to like this place, but they are terrible, especially for alterations.  I have taken 2 pants there to take in and both times, they were the exact same when I got them back (i.e. they were not taken in at all!!!)  The first time, she at least admitted she did not take them in and then fixed them, but the second time she denied it, so I paid (and not the cheapest) to have nothing done.  They are incapable of doing alterations but will charge you for not doing it with no remorse or doing a crappy job.  I brought in a pair of sequin pants to be shortened, which I know is difficult, so I asked her first if she could do it and she said no it was too difficult, which I respected, so I left and after I left she called and said she could do it and just sew up the pant cuffs for me.  I was like uh no thank you.  If I wanted that I could do it myself!  Plus, they had sequins on them so they were heavy, if she just sewed them up without actually shortening the pants it would look so bad.  Terrible!   Go to Ma's alteration on Clement St...they know what they are doing and do a great job.

Suzie and Kent Cleaners are our go-to for all regular & emergency cleaning and repairs. They have revived fabrics and removed all types of stains. If they can't do it, they tell me. A couple times they said they weren't sure but they'll try. Both times, they removed it perfectly. They're pleasant to work with, too, and flexible. If I need a repair and it's fast, they even do it on the spot. They rock!

I've been going to Kent Cleaners for years, they've always taken care of my clothes and are very honest -- one time they returned money they found in my pants pocket. I like how the dry clean my shirts. I've tried other cheaper cleaners in the area but the finish quality doesn't compare to Kent's. They'll also help with bring your clothes to your car.

I have red sauce stain on shirt, I bring it them and they make it go away, like new. It was my favorite shirt also, use for going out with girlfriend who likes this shirt also. She is one who spilled sauce on it!
