If I could rate them negative stars I would. horrible company that hates Veteran's and American's. Will not respond to my emails or phone calls. refused to work with me on my panel issue and puts the blame on me. Trash company so be warned. You're better off with Titan solar. at least they do upgrades.

When you see Solar City inside of your local Home Depot store...run away. Got solar panels from Solar City in December 2015 and sprung a leak the very same month. They came out to assess and discovered it wasn't sealed properly and resealed it. Then lo and behold next rain more leaking, now in two areas where there are solar panels. This time their rep said it's not the panels it's the roof. We have no other leaks in the entire home. However, solar city not willing to take off panels to determine cause of leak. Instead they leave that up to the customer to pay for the cost of removing the panels and hire a third party to make that determination. Customer service manager is horrible to work with and does not work in the interest of the customer. Home Depot allows their customers to be victim to this company and takes no responsibility with the partnership that they hold with solar city. Do your homework when shopping for solar panels. We thought Home Depot had done the homework for us by having them in their store but apparently that is not the case. Here we are in August 2017 with tarps and sandbags on our roof, gutted out living room with everything in storage since January 2017, and no lights in our entry way as those were also affected by the leak. Avoid the frustration and headache that we have had to endure from solar city since December 2015 and Home Depot since April 2017.
