i was with Vivint solar and the communication was very easy, they had very professional customer service. until they transit to this nightmare of Sun Run, very disrespectful people, even the manager disrespect you and doesn't want to listen to your concern. this is a huge hack! i don't recommend this solar company, call other solar company! worst company ever! it's beyond disappointment . I'm ready to sell my house just because of this nightmare

Unfortunately the experience we have currently with Sun Run Formally (Vivint Solar) is a very negative one. The company had currently a 2.6 rating but my 1 star is justifiable from the damage the company has done to our house and their negligence and irresponsible actions to fix the damage their installation did on our house. In 2019 they installed solar panels on our house. Unbeknownst to us they cracked one of the roofs supporting beams and plywood. 3 months later the rain came. While we where eating our dinner we noticed a steady stream of water running down our kitchen wall. As soon as I got to the attic and worked my way to the leak there was a stream of water coming trough the roof and landing all over the insulation and plywood. I called them they came to Fix the roof, this fix consisted of some Hispanic people coming to the house slapping caulk all over the affected area and leaving the empty canisters in our attic. The rain came and the stream again came trough but directed the water further into our CEILING. Our houses insurance got involved cut our kitchen ceiling drained the attic dried our kitchen and took out all the insulation. The date is 3/24/22, till this day they have not come to fix a thing, there is still a hole in our kitchen and there has been no fair attempts to try and fix the damage they caused. If you are considering this company for your Solar Energy needs use my experience to help you with your decision, a companys success also rides on that companies reputation, dignity and customer service. I have the pictures and Videos in real time to prove the damage they did and never fixed correctly or attempted to fix. While I sit here looking at the hole in our kitchen I cant help but feel humiliated, defeated, confused and lost. A successful company should not leave you feeling this way. I hope this helps and if you decide to try them anyway good luck and may you fare better than us. - No solution from the company to this day 3/24/2022

We had panels put on our roof 2 months ago and have yet to "go live." Zero contact since. We've sent our salesman Michael 4 texts, 1 voice mail and 1 email. No response. We've left a request with Vivint's overseas call center for a call back. No response. We've left a request with Sun Run's overseas call center. No response. We've requested a call back via the Sun Run Website. No response. We talked with a sales man at Home Depot who promised to "light a fire under the right @##." No response. I called the sales hotline I found on google looking to speak to someone today. He transferred me to a girl in Columbia. I called back and finally got a phone number for someone named Julius--the first time anyone was willing to give me a phone number for someone local. I left him a voicemail last Friday and yesterday. No Response. I truly regret the day we signed with this company. UPDATE: I got the same copy/paste form letter response everyone else who left negative reviews did. Please contact our (overseas) call center for assistance. Of course, if anyone actually took 45 seconds to read my review they would know a large portion of my frustration was directly related to contacting the same phone number they provided in the response. It'd almost be funny if it weren't so frustrating and pathetic. AVOID!! Update #2 Today is March 18, 2022. Our panels were put on our home July 13th of 2021. We're STILL not live. EIGHT MONTHS AND FIVE DAYS or 248 days. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get anything done with this company. Truly the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a company. On a satisfying note I've discouraged several neighbors on our street in signing with SunRun. One neighbor 2 doors down signed an agreement and I spoke to him the following day. He was able to back out of his deal (3 day rescission). So at least I've saved others from this stress.
