TWC/Spectrum offers half-decent services at grievously high rates. On the weekend, however, the cable and internet throughput slows down significantly. Also, don't even bother calling the 800 number - customer service is obtuse and unhelpful. However, the Rockland store, with real live customer service is well worth the visit; the personnel there are friendly and very helpful.
Edit: a couple years later and they have improved the speeds. However, they are unable to keep some channels up and running. NBCSN, NBC Boston, NESN-HD, and NESN+ would have better stability via satellite. Currently watching playoff hockey and I've had to reset NBCSN 48 times and it's early in the third period. I'm confident they're have been games I've had to reset over a hundred times.
It's nothing anyone is able to fix.
