Dollar Rent A Car

Rented from Dollar via Expedia and decided to try out the "Special" and see what type of vehicle I would get. Upon arrival and BNA, the agent advised the "Manager Special" was for an electric vehicle and if I wanted a gas vehicle, I had to pay an upgrade. I advised the agent that nowhere on the site does it say that and I received a confirmation from Dollar saying I would get a BMW or similar. Totally fine not having a BMW, so that's not the issue. I felt like he was lying to me in order to get more money. I even went back to my reservation details and it says nothing about an electric car, so what the heck? Not a good experience.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I have been waiting in line at the counter for ONE HOUR. There are 12 computers at the counter, but only 2 people working the counter (there was a 3rd but he left). HOW IS THIS OK? I have never seen anything like this!?? Why are there no additional people to help?

This place had horrible reviews, so we were expecting a horrible experience. Luckily, we did not have a horrible experience. It went great. We had a reservation for a premium sized SUV for a week (for Spring Break). We were getting in at midnight and expected a long wait, there were only two people ahead of us. We expected unforeseen charges at pickup or drop-off, it was exactly the amount we were quoted online. We expected bad customer service, any employee we spoke to was courteous and efficient. There WAS an issue with the couple behind us though... They had a reservation for the same sized SUV and the company ran out, so they were being offered a van... Not sure what ended up happening, so if you are arriving late, I would have the main driver go to the Rental Center right away. Zero issues for us, though.

SCAM!!! I booked thru Priceline and gave the employee at the front desk my confirmation code. They charged me TWICE, once thru Priceline and then direct from Dollar Rental. NO luck getting in contact with customer service BEWARE this company will ROB you blind!! MAKE THIS RIGHT DOLLAR CAR RENTAL!!
