If you are accustomed to the st regis product !!!DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I understand this is not the usual state of this hotel but right now is an absolute disaster. There is no restaurant, there is no bar, there is no champagne saberage, barely a valet, no real entrance. There isn't even a lobby. You go in the side door and take an elevator to check in at a makeshift lobby in a ballroom. It feels almost shady like we are squatting in this building- the staff greet you with a smile and professionalism but are all obviously disgruntled with getting complained to constantly and you can tell. The peninsula is just across the street and fully operational. If you want st regis product in this location go there. The palace a few blocks away has also finished their renos.

My stay at the St. Regis Hotel was an absolute disaster, to put it mildly. Upon arrival, I found the hotel undergoing extensive renovations, with the lobby and the rest of the facility in disarray. The lack of working WiFi was particularly inconvenient, especially considering my need to work remotely.The limited service availability was another disappointment. Despite the hotel hosting an event, essential amenities such as room service and Butler service ceased operation at 9 PM, a departure from the round-the-clock premium service expected from such an establishment.Interactions with the hotel staff were unpleasant, characterized by rudeness and a lack of accommodation. Billing discrepancies, including charges for services not rendered, further compounded the negative experience and raised concerns about transparency and integrity.The overall atmosphere and hospitality were lacking, failing to meet the standard expected of a luxury hotel. In conclusion, the experience at the St. Regis fell far short of expectations and I would caution against choosing this location for lodging.
