We contacted Mr. Collins after a recommendation by some friends who previously used their service when purchasing a home. We have lived in the same house for 15 years, one which we used a cheaper inspector for prior to purchase, and have always regretted it because not long after we moved in we started having issues. We knew we wanted someone thorough, honest, and that would show us the issues and help us understand. Purchasing a house, that we hoped to be our "forever home," at almost twice the price of our current home, was something we were not getting into lightly. Mr. and Mrs. Collins were awesome! They walked us through the entire house, inside, out, and under! Addressed every issue we had, found many we didn't know we had, and even found a "secret room" that is gonna be an awesome storage spot, that we had no idea about! They were very transparent, explained everything in detail, and helped us pick out key issues that were important we address and can use to negotiate with our seller. We had a contractor out to the house today by Mr. Collins recommendation and the issues Mr. Collins found only on the roof and siding alone came to $25,500 in expected repairs, WELL WORTH the cost of a quality inspection!

I called around and Collins home Inspection has the most reasonable prices. The husband and wife team were extremely accommodating. They did our inspection even in the pouring Georgia rain. They helped ease our mind in this home buying process. I couldn't recccomend a better home inspector.

Collins Home Inspections saved us from buying a home with significant hidden issues. I contacted them to inspect a home that we were looking to buy. They did a great job and were very polite and professional throughout the process. We needed our home inspection done promptly and Mr. Collins was able to schedule us the next day. His inspection and subsequent report were very thorough. Mr. Collins took extra time to discuss his findings. He recommended we have a contractor look at an issue he found. Thank goodness we took Mr. Collins advise to heart. The contractor gave us a rough estimate of $15, 000 in repairs were needed. Wife and I have decided not to purchase that home. We thank Collins Inspections for discovering the issue before we bought that home.
