        This place is awesome for the location....thats pretty much it.uch like a lot of the older hotels on the strip, it is desperate for a total makover, which is what was happening when stayed. Noise and trash from the rooms being renovated was not ideal. This was fine overall since it pushed us to stay out all day, which is what we came there for. Just wish it had been a little more comfortable. I can't wait to see the finished renovation!

        We enjoyed our stay. I will say I understand they are renovating the rooms to make them look better, but work could start at 7am at least instead of 6am lol. Besides getting woken up, we loved the location , and it is extremely convenient to walk to everything gatlinburg has to offer.

      The Hampton Inn Gatlinburg hotel is located on the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg, 300 yards from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park entrance on LeConte Creek and next door to the Ober Gatlinburg Tram to the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park. Our hotel is situated alongside a rushing mountain stream, within walking distance to all downtown activities, fine dining, unique shopping and attractions, including the new Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies.The Hampton Inn Gatlinburg hotel features 97 rooms, each one with a personal balcony, some overlooking LeConte Creek. All king rooms are equipped with a fireplace, and selected rooms also offer a whirlpool. Guests visiting Tennessee will enjoy our complimentary continental breakfast bar with biscuits and gravy, served daily, as well as a TV with cable, featured in every room. Our hotel also offers connecting rooms, cribs, hair dryers, irons, an outdoor pool and refrigerators.
