The staff here is amazing. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had a very strange incident with other guests (a couple who didnt like our rainbow loving dark skinned son or his 2 dads) and the staff here did everything they could to make our stay a positive one. Ive never felt better about my choice of hotel. Adrian, who handles hotel hospitality at the Bistro, was particularly great and turned our trip from a nightmare to a dream vacation.

Booking error on my part landed me here instead of the downtown Courtyard, this error worked in my favour. Not only was the price better even with the added taxi costs, the room I got was very nice and the outdoor space (courtyard) was very relaxing place to unwind after the day. The fire table is a great touch, the lobby is very comfortable. The workout room is simple but had everything I needed (free weights, bike, treadmill). There is an outdoor pool that looked very clean but I didn't take a dip due to my stone-like buoyancy.
The people who work here are very hospitable, so polite and eager to make to positive difference to your stay. Adrian and Ky in particular really elevated themselves for this traveler but really, everyone was looking to be helpful and friendly without being fake about it.
The location does have some drawbacks if you're looking for multiple dining options but there is some really good BBQ and Mexican near by (5-10 minute walk) and a ride downtown is about $20.

I always come here when my doctor's appointment comes up. Very close to UT southwestern. Always clean rooms. Staff are always very friendly and helpful with everything. And it's also close to places to eat, shop or just look around.
