Rockwell's American Grill

Nice place, professional people....food is a heart attack on the plate. If you like that kind of food you will LOVE this place.

Food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. If you have allergies, stay away. I've eaten at Rockwell's dozens of times and have replaced my previously glowing review about their food due to them no longer following a safe policy when preparing food for those with allergies. My son has gotten sick for the second time after eating there, despite ordering a cooked meat with absolutely nothing on it. Never had any problems until the past two visits.

The food was very good. I had the fried shrimp dinner. The shrimp were lightly battered and cooked perfectly. The three dipping sauces were excellent, especially the lemon aioli. The fries were good but nothing special. The slaw could have been seasoned bettered as it was slightly bland. My dining partner chose breakfast - which is served all day! SHe got a generous portion of blueberry pancakes, bacon, and yummy grits. We shared a piece of lemon meringue pie. The filling was nice and tart.

Great food! Great Service! Everyone in out party of 7 was happy and we'll all definitely be back. Very accommodating for large groups. The patio is amazing!

OK this restaurant is a Michael Dean's Rocky Top property. They all have lots of glowing reviews. I know some are real, but I suspect some are fake. You can tell. They do have pretty good food, and beautiful girl wait staff. They also are professional at working the system to their advantage. The wait staff also has to clean the bathrooms, FYI. Maybe during your dinner. I eat at all of them, but I thought you should know.
