Built Custom Burgers

I struggled with placing a telephone order for pickup. The woman on the phone was unprofessional, impatient and unhelpful. She put us on hold in the middle of the order, we were asked to repeat ourselves several times. That should have been an indication of what was to come. We ordered 3 burgers, some how she understood the order to be 4 with a few other issues with the order. When picking up the order there was more of her unprofessional behavior, shaking her head and huffing at us. Toppings and sauces were very sparse on the burgers. The only pleasant part of the whole experience was the young man at the register, who was professional and accommodating. Not sure I will be returning.

Thank you so much to the lovely woman serving us today. She was shortstaffed as she had multiple orders ahead of ours (a short wait) but communicated and treated us so kindly, even offering us a taste of the coconut milkshake, which was delicious. The food was great and I enjoyed the burger I had, my kids loved the hash browns and my husband doused his Carolina Heat burger in the spicy aioli sauce. We will have to come back, as I the service was exceptional and reminds me of all the reasons I love to live in the south, where people are friendly and kind even during difficult times.

I rarely leave reviews but today I make an exception. We tried Built today for the first time and we were definitely let down. My boyfriend and I are new to the area and dont expect anything more than quality to match price and that was not the case here. The total came up to about $30 with a burger and tender bowl combo but the quality was similar to something youd get at an airport. I like my burgers medium but usually dont expect that with with a thinner patty (especially when youre not asked how you want your burger cooked) but my burger was fully pink on the inside. Tater tots were also not good and chicken tenders were undercooked. Overall I would not recommend and will not be returning.

Went to Built custom burgers yesterday for the first time. It was alright. I think their gimmick of being custom and above the average burger leaves a lot to be desired. Burger was $6.00 and very small and thin. Not much to it. It didn't taste bad but I could get a better value elsewhere. I don't mind paying for quality but it was a paper thin burger.
