Rooms: Nice spacious rooms and very clean nice and quiet.

First time in Wisconsin and booked without checking reviews due to convenience of the location. First, GPS gave incorrect directions (and people in Wisconsin drive like a$$holes). Secondly the front desk person seemed so far into outer space she could not even recommend places in the area. Quote Im not from this side of town, and offered me a map. Check in was easy breezy! Upon entering the room, I inspected as usual, only to discover stained walls, sheets and curtains. The sliding glass door does not lock, except for with a metal bar. The neighbors had their doors open and appeared to live her permanently?! One guy seemed to be very interested in what was in my vehicle which made me move my car to the front, from the back. Bathroom seems fine. Havent used shower yet. Its just very disappointing to see stained walls and bed linens, despite the price we pay. Later, the fire department came to whisk someone away. There is a steady flow of trafficolder Caucasian gentlemen and younger guys hanging out in the front and back.
All that aside. Clean your rooms and replace old and dilapidated furnishings The mirror frame is hanging off on the bottom. It looks like something has leaked on the door, the walls, the curtain is stainedblood, feces, food??? I dont know.
Honestly want a refund because we dont feel clean or safe here, but alas, we booked without reviewing the reviews

Nearby activities: Seemed to be a drive to go to any activities. And by driving I mean you need to take a defensive driving course because its literally insane here.
Safety: Did not feel safe at all.
Walkability: Walk to where? The liquor store?
Food & drinks: Didnt try the restaurant. Didnt seem open.

NOTHING FALSE ABOUT WHAT MY FAMILY & MYSELF HAD TO GO THRU WITH THIS HOTEL. I WILL POST PICTURES IF I HAVE TO, EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE. SERVICE SUCKS, BATHROOM NASTY NOT CLEAN, THEY DON'T PICK UP LAUNDRY, NEVER HAVE CLEAN PILLOWS & SHEETS, SINK ONLY RUNS COLD WATER, CURTAINS ON THE SLIDING DOORS ARE NASTY & DIRTY, HALLWAYS SMELLS SUPER BAD, STAFF DON'T DO NOTHIN THEY MAKE YOU WASH YOUR OWN SHEETS & BLANKETS, KEY CARDS DON'T WORK HAVE TO GO TO THE FRONT DESK, IT'S NEVER NO ONE AT THE FRONT DESK. ONLY THING THAT'S GOOD ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS THAT IT'S BY THE HIGHWAY. THEY DON'T PICK UP THE TRASH IN THE HALLWAY, WORKERS NEVER AROUND UNLESS IT'S TIME TO CHECK OUT. IT'S SO TERRIBLE IT NEEDS TO BE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT ASAP. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY & DISAPPEAR EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. CAN'T EVEN ASK FOR TISSUE, TOILET STAY CLOGGED UP & THEY MAKE YOU FIX ALL PROBLEMS IN YOUR ROOM, & BEDS BROKEN. WOULD NEVER ASK OR TELL NO ONE TO COME HERE, NOT EVEN MY WORSE ENEMY. NO STARS, ICE MACHINE DON'T EVEN WORK, DRAINS DON'T WORK IN THE TUB, & THEY HAVE BUGS. REFRIGERATOR DON'T WORK AT ALL SO DON'T EXPECT TO HAVE COLD FOOD.
Rooms: ROOMS ARE TERRIBLE, BED BROKE, BUGS, CURTAINS ARE DIRTY & NEVER CLEAN CARPET NEEDS CLEANING, REMOTE DON'T WORK FOR THE TV, LAMP SHADES ARE DIRTY & NOT ONE PERSON HAVE EVER CLEANED THEM YOU CAN TELL. IT'S SO MUCH NEGATIVE STUFF & THINGS ABOUT THIS HOTEL IM SURPRISED IT'S NOT CLOSED. NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE MAKING REVIEWS ABOUT HOW BAD THIS HOTEL IS & HOW IT SMELLS SO BAD. NEVER COME HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY. REFRIGERATOR DO NOT WORK & IT SMELLS & HAVE NOT BEEN CLEAN AT ALL.
