Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette

This is THE WORST Goodwill in the area. Horrible customer service with the absolute rudest staff!! Dont stop here to donate your items because the inconsiderate, older door man not only answers with an attitude (rolls his eyes & makes faces showing he obviously hates his job), he also makes sure to tell you with a sarcastic attitude that your items (which follow the donation guidelines & are in great condition) are not suitable for donation. Doesnt goodwill stay afloat because of donations they receive for free that they then turn around to make an insane profit from? I visited a different goodwill and my items were taken without hesitation. Dont waste your time at this pitiful location.

A man, possibly high on something, was harassing me in the aisles and forced me into a corner. I ran to the cashier, a man, who I told about the man harassing me. He looked to his manager and both acted like I didnt exist and ignored me. They checked the man out while he was cursing me out for absolutely no reason and I was trapped in the store because he was at the exit. No one helped me. This place is ghetto and dangerous and I will not be returning.

When you first walk in it has a smell of mildewing clothes, lucky for me I have a mask on. Let's start off by saying none of the clothing in the store has been washed. So if the clothing had been soiled previously to drop off you're going to get soiled clothing. And the same thing goes with the shoes none of the shoes have been cleaned. The staff is friendly. Dirty clothing on sale for what it cost brand new in the store. Prices are out of whack. I will not be coming back due to my smell sensitivity.

High prices for a store that keeps dressing rooms closed even after the mask mandate is lifted. AKA using the pandemic as an excuse to staff less So much for creating jobsI already try to stay away from goodwill stores because of their high prices and unethical business practices, but every once in a while I stop in to one. Sad to report they expect you to pay $15 for a used blouse that cost them nothing to attain when they dont even let you try the piece on. They make owning nice PREOWNED clothes and contributing to the fight against fast fashion / being environmentally friendly more difficult by keeping their prices outrageously high. Reminded me why I dont shop at these stores. That being said - The staff at this location is incredibly friendly and the store is clean and organized so thank you for that STAFF! You deserve a raise!
