        If it is not in condition for immediate sale, don't bring it here! Minor repain to a piece of furniture and it was refused! So much for training the handicapped

      Thank you for your review and we understand the disappointment of not being able to donate an item. Our donation centers accept gently used items and furniture as we are unable to repair furniture to sell on our floors. You can find out our donation guidelines here: https://discovergoodwill.org/i-want-to-donate/#what-can-i-donate. Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest, when it was originally founded in 1939, taught our participants to repair items but our organization has evolved to better meet the needs of our participants as times have changed. We haven't repaired furniture or offered that program in a very long time. Goodwill now provides assessments to find the right fit and positions inside Goodwill as well as partnering with local businesses to employ participants.
