Wendy MacGregor, the Assistant Manager told my husband that his withdrawal request was denied due to fraudulent activity, but when asked to provide proof she stated she couldn't because she made it up. After speaking with my bank there was no fraudulent activity or hold placed on the account. Indicating she didn't know why the transaction was declined would have been better than that.

I had such a great experience with Riverview Bank Marisol was really helpful and transparent about what I needed to open an account. I wasnt able to set anything up that day due to time constraints, but Id love the opportunity to work with Marisol! Please keep her around!!

Worse experience ever, they took over 30 minutes just to cash out a check for 10k
Ans and excuse that they don't have that amount of money in a "Bank" and after that they asked me a hole bunch of questions and personal information and that only because I don't have an account with them next time I'll just deposit in my bank branch.
Not coming here ever again

Been a Riverview customer for more than a decade. Never overdrafted my account, direct deposit, perfect credit, the works.
Dropped in to see about an auto loan. Was told by the manager after we filled out the forms that she'd contact me that evening or the next day. I called the next day after hearing nothing. She was apparently "with a customer." It took over an hour for her to call me back. She then bluntly told me that the underwriter hadn't even looked at my application yet. She'd let me know "tonight or tomorrow. " The exact same line. Surprise, surprise, I didn't get a call back. End up canceling the loan and being helped immediately by a larger bank.
Communication is bad. The woman who helped me seemed confused why I wanted a loan, why she should be helping me, and why I was calling her. Unprofessional, rude, and inept.
I've typically had good experiences with Riverview. The Hazel Dell branch needs to revisit its customer service training. They threw free money away today.
