    Tried to raise rent by almost $400 during market downturn. Leasing office does not respond to complaints, and you can hear other tenants through the roof, floor, and walls. Management company, Greystar, is being sued for rent manipulation. Pass on this and look elsewhere.

    EDIT: Truman from Greystar called me back to apologize and explain the scheduling mishap, and offered to personally handle this going forward. Unfortunately didnt have time to make up the appointment, but I appreciate the call back and personable followthrough. Amending this to 3 stars. Didnt even bother to show up to a viewing appointment. We waited 20 minutes at 11am, the scheduled time confirmed via phone call AND email, and nobody answered. When we got in via some kind folks, we found the leasing office dark with nobody inside. Rude waste of time, we travelled all the way from Portland to view apartments and they took up one of the time slots for viewing. 1 star.

    UPDATE after 1 week living in the south face unit. Starting June, direct sunlight from both two giant windows in the bedroom can easily wake you up 5am. Additional, if you WFH, the sunlight affects your view on screens. See the below photos taken around 6am (the bedroom has two giant windows like this. No way you can sleep well) This unit is NOT ready to live. We have to buy curtain, curtain rod, wall bracket, screws,, screwed, privacy screen film, spay bottle, and the full set of tools to set it up. We went to IKEA, home depot, and shop on Amazon to get everything ready and took half day, spent around $300 to finally make this unit a liveable place. The staff said it's "home improvement" and they are not responsible for it, instead they will charge you fees if you don't get everything back to original. Unless, you're planning to live longer than 2 years, otherwise all the efforts, money and energy are not worth it.The worst move in experience i've ever had with this apartment. I'm stating what i have seen and experienced during this move in and would not recommend this apartment to anyone. 1Disaster move in condition. Washer, Oven, dish washer, ventilation fan in the guest restroom were not appropriately cleaned. See photos. I have to clean them all myself. 2AC port was broken. This was fixed later in the day though. See picture for original condition. 3Washer caused serious leakage the 1st time we used it, water leakage everywhere. See picture. Maintenance staff said the washer will cause leakage when on washer clean cycle. Excuse me? If the washer is appropriately set up, why would certain cycle cause any dysfunction?? Staff said this will get fix the next day before 12pm. No one called. 4Lack of professional/responsive Staff. The one who helped us with move in inspection was just a leasing staff's friend who was providing coverage. Our mover arrived on Sunday so I tried to call and move elevator reservation ahead, no one responded even though the office hour on the website says 10am to 5pm on Sunday. The office hour posted on the window is 9-6 Monday to Sunday. Unfortunately, our movers had to struggle with the elevator which significantly increased their working hours, our cost, and caused inconvenience to others. Please do NOT come.
