I have lived in the neighborhood for nearly 2 years. In that time, the fire department has been called out to this property at least 30 times for broken fire alarms. During one summer month, I would estimate that the alarm was triggered at least once per week (usually at night, to boot). I will routinely look outside my window and see the residents of this building having to evacuate and wait for the firemen to come reset their alarm. I have no idea how this sort of behavior is not being sanctioned in any way. It seems like the landlords truly do not care at all about the welfare of their residents. Update: four months later and the alarm still goes off. Currently it is midnight on a Friday on all the residents are sitting on the street waiting for the fire department to come turn off their alarm again. Update 2: it's been 2 more months, and the problems with the alarms are still going on. In the last week, the fire department has been called out 3 separate times to turn off the alarms. Update 3: Four months later and this issue is still ongoing. It never went away but the frequency went down to maybe once a month until the past couple of weeks. Since that time, it's gone off maybe on average every 2-3 days? I should also mention that not only does the alarm require the residents to evacuate and the fire department to respond, but also the area in which the fire trucks must park ends up blocking the streetcar tracks. So if you are ever befuddled on why your transit system does not seem to be as consistent as you would hope, there is a chance it is due to this building.

If ur a young woman i dont even think about living here. I lived there for about 6 months and when i did maintenance went into my apartment without a notice at all and came in when i was half naked. the male residences would pound on my door all hours of the night to try to hang out or they want cigs i felt very unsafe there. one time a man named adam did push himself into my apartment then tried to touch my bra and other places. i tried talking to the office about it and i never even got a email or call back. it came to a point where i rather purposely get evicted then deal with the sexual harassment. i tried so so hard to communicate this to management but i got nothing. the only time i hard from them was when i got a after summary thing from my eviction. if ur a woman even thinking about renting this place out, even for air bnb. dont. the men here are creepy and gross and management does not care. edit: instead of trying to help me they emailed me telling me to take this down

I had a very positive experience renting here for the past year, not a ton of noise, locked myself out and managements helped me open my apt very promptly, as well as when ever I've need maintenance the teams been very helpful. Would definitely consider renting here again.
