Apartment is fine but the service is none existent. The only reason I'm writing this review is because complaining publicly is the only way to get in contact with Essex management. Their online portal does not process payments yet they'll email you immediately that your late. They placed a large sticker on my windshield saying my car is illegally parked in their lot despite me paying to have a parking spot in the building. The entire management team works offsite so getting in contact with them is impossible. I like my apartment but the experience of running in circles endlessly on the first of every month is enough for me to recommend against applying here.

Been here for 2 years and the experience is only getting worse. Hard to reach management team, no one is onsite. Takes 2-7days to get a useless response from email. Ironically they will rely in a second if it's related to any payments :) And kindly send you email every single day if you have any maintenance fees/charges due on your account. There's one neighbor's dog barks every single day, not sure from which floor, but you can hear it during 4am or literally anytime during the day. This is driving me crazy, which means the wall & doors is not well built for noise reduction. Pros for this apartment I can think of is: nice location in SLU, overall pretty clean in shared locations including the gym...
