Better than your average 50$ hotel room ( club member price). I've been here for 2 weeks. I'm looking for an apartment. I moved from the LaQuinta down the street. (Please check out my review of the LaQuinta on Newtown Rd in Virginia Beach, VA. Don't go there. Save money and stay here) At this Red Roof Inn, the people are great and the rooms are comfortable. If you are allergic to their washing chemicals, they will let you wash your own linens. I had to do this. I suggest a room with a microwave and fridge if you're staying for longer than a weekend. It's not fancy, but for 50$ it's more than I expected. Please remember that it's a motel-style hotel. My cat has been staring a the ceiling for a week. She can hear the people upstairs. Safety: The staff is super attentive to any safety needs you have. Food & drinks: It's close to all the fast food you can eat. There's a Mexican place on the corner and mid-price restaurants are very accessible. Noteworthy details: They don't charge for lost key cards

So i checked in room on Friday with my 4 year old daughter and we ate took a shower n laid down! Saturday morning my daughter woke up coughing and not feeling well so i gave her some meds and a cup of water before heading out to work! She accidently waste water on bed so i pulled the comforter sheets and bed cover off to get them replace before returning! Then after removing everything is when i discover this mattress we laid on all night until the next day! The desk clerk was very helpful but made me aware i had to wait until manager come in to discuss matter ! The manager was very insensitive, she was more focus on me not checking out and leaving the premises verses the care for the health of my child and me! I've beeen at hospital all day with my baby and myself not feeling good and I'm disgusted I've been staying at this location almost every two weeks for work and never thought to check their mattress! Legal actions will be filed and no one should trust this location !

I was there for 1 week, and not once did they clean it. Bed in poor condition, stained sheets and towels... I honestly thought there was a mistake or something, I returned the next week and the situation was worse... so on my third week I came and tried Quality Inn, it really is super comfortable and cleaned every day, very comfortable bed... clean bathrooms and towels...
