Seahawk Motel

We love it here! This is our third visit and every year the place looks better than the year before. The view of the ocean and boardwalk are fantastic. The room is comfortable and clean. The indoor pool is heated and truly warm! The price is very affordable. The owner-operator is friendly and helpful. Walkability: Can easily walk anywhere for a meal!

There are definitely not roaches in this motel. We stay here at least once a year, and have been for a few years now. We got a bug in our room last time, but it was a waterbug that is native to this area - not a roach (We alerted the front desk who identified it. I know they're correct because with roaches, there are always more than one.). The problem with humanity today is that we try to control the ecosystem rather than live within it, which is quickening the death toll on humankind. It is rare to stay anywhere and not have some kind of room issue, but we rarely ever do here. There always seems to be at least one maintenance person on staff, and always someone at the front desk.

Nasty and Roach infested. We had several rooms booked and found bugs all over the place.

This is one of the last independent beachfront motels that hasn't been mowed down for a boring, character-stripped chain. Other reviewers are right, it's dated... In the best way possible. Charm to the brim. And super clean. And super friendly staff. And perfect beach views perfectly centrally located on the boardwalk. Breakfast isn't included but it's so affordable you can easily go to any of the great little diners in the area. We'll definitely be back. Rooms: We had a room with two comfortable queen beds.
