Days Inn by Wyndham Virginia Beach At The Beach

Hotel and rooms are dated. But, appears they are in process of painting etc. beds were extremely comfortable and clean. B'fast could be improved and expanded. We were attending a wrestling tournament so did not spend a lot of time at hotel. Location was great and price reasonable.

Great location and easy parking. Room decor was dated and it smelled of strong cleaning chemicals but it was very clean and sheets, fridge, bath and microwave were spotless. Beds were comfy and our room had a decent view from the balcony. Breakfast was standard but solid with a range of sugary (waffles, fruit loops) and healthy options (unsweetened oatmeal, bagels and cream cheese, fresh apples and bananas). Finally the price was super reasonable - it wont win prizes for luxury but it gives the basics.

Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, balconies are fairly private. Located right on Atlantic, it's perfect to walk across the street to the beach, shops, or restaurants. Breakfast is simple : bagels, toast, waffles, juice, coffee, and fruit - nice to have something to grab if you're visiting and have no food in the mini fridge! Rooms: Very clean with a fairly private balcony Walkability: Across the street from the beach with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars within a few blocks Food & drinks: Tons of restaurants and bars

Could be great for budget strapped high school students. The rooms, other than the paint behind the beds and the beds, must have seen only a minor cosmetic upgrade over the years. The bathroom was the worst area with the bathtub being dingy. Also, the industrial cleaning agent smell coming out of the bathroom was unbearable. In short, it is worth paying a little more to staying somewhere else.

This hotel is so sketchy. We arrived late, around 1 am. People partying outside, smoking pot. Room was very old and gross. Microwave was dirty. Tub water was running and couldn't shut off, not dripping, running. On the good side they did refund our money. We did not stay. We left as soon as we saw the room. This place needs to be tore down.
