Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

Not a very friendly staff at all. From front desk to breakfast host. I am a Diamond member that travels weekly for business. Asked for a water at check in and was told I opted for points. I did not opt for points as it defaults to water and a snack. It's costs hotels about 9 cents for a bottle of water. Managers reception was nice until a lady was putting some pretzels on her plate at 602pm and staff began clearing everything off around her. Then told her he was gonna throw everything out when she asked about it. Complementary breakfast that started at 730? Why so late. Have traveled all over US and no continental breakfast starts that late. Then waited on a line to get into breakfast for a lady to check 5 pages of guests. Also never have seen that. Very inefficient. I would not stay here again. The only recommendation I would give would be for the view which you can get at Marriot or a vacation resort down the road. Disappointing for a Hilton property. Rooms: Room had a great view and seemed clean. Noteworthy details: Why a resort fee in April? Too cold for any outdoor activities. Hotel was fairly empty.

Staff is EXCEPTIONALLY MARVELOUS!! EVERY single employee was customer ready.. friendly AND professional! The only star I took was for parking. The parking is horrible and then you have to pay! Overall I will always stay here.. Fabulous!!! Rooms: Immaculate Food & drinks: Reception is good. As elegant as the hotel is. They could step up on the food part of the reception.
