The name renew sure isnt for their tenants to renew their lease. Someone just got shot outside of my building.They will increase the rent by 200 a year. The apartments have bugs in them and the renovated apartments have poorly done spray painted walls and have the cheapest counters and cabinets. They will tack on fees throughout the year. The gyms are broken from children running around the complex and they want to make it a luxury apartment price all of a sudden minus the luxury part. Theres no security and the the neighborhood is not the most safe. They charge $150 for amenities they do not take care of. There is a roach problem in the apartments but the pest control does spray ever so often, this does not help. The water pressure in the kitchen is non-existent and has not been fixed or addressed since I moved in. The sewer backed up into my apartment through the tub/toilet, got everywhere from another tenants weave/flushable wipes. Even after a plumber came out twice there is still a huge amount of sewage backup. The apartment building smells like smoke now from the kids that run rampant. The air filter has not been replaced in over a year. Ive emailed and called Renew and yet they have not addressed any issues that have occurred.
