Courtyard by Marriott Lynchburg

The location is great. The lobby was very nicely decorated and designed. There were ample seating and relaxing areas. The bistro is a quick and convenient option. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There was trash from the previous visitor left in the garbage as well as a tissue stuffed into the peep hole. The gym was great. There are so many options! Overall, it was a good experience.

This hotel deserves more than 5 stars not only because its been the best stay Ive had surrounding my other hotel experiences, but the people who work for this hotel & location are amazing! They have gone above & beyond with helping me with all of my questions & just the empathy that they have for others is a special gift to have. The company has truly hired some beautiful people to work for them helping spread more light on what going above & beyond customer services means they represent the company in so many ways. From the front desk, kitchen staff, ladies who clean the rooms, & night shift & day shift thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel at home & so welcoming truly made a big impact on me for my stay. Wish I could reach someone like the CEO to tell him this location & employees are the absolute best & they all deserve an award for customer service for going above & beyond for their guests!!! This customer service stands out because they have made a difference & huge impacted on my life just for being them & that goes a long way!!! This place is by far the cleanest hotel Ive stayed at & smells so amazing as you first walk in even the rooms. Very at home feel with the balcony & fire places as well! Very well organized staff & hotel will stay here again & make sure I spread the word on how amazing my stay was!!

Great hotel. 5 min from Liberty University. Spacious room and bathroom. Shower was equipped for elderly or disabled with special standing chair to put in. Everything clean and in working condition. Quite AC. Breakfast was included, tasty and freshly done. Courteous staff. Laundry machine on the floor for self service, indoor pool.

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 100! Did not get any sleep. 0 sleep. It wasn't until midnight that I noticed the issue. This room is right next to the stairwell door and the side building exit/entry. Both doors close very loud and people coming in and out all night. Top that off with the AC not having a constant on fan setting... worse night in a hotel ever.

I stayed at this hotel in lynchburg, VA for business as I'm a traveling nurse. The hotel was nice, decent rooms, but the hotel partners with Starbucks and doesn't serve regular coffee to their guests I guess because of Starbucks being there. I don't think this is right because not everyone wants gourmet coffee/lattes. Tish at the front desk was kind enough to get me a regular cup of coffee because she was very understanding that I'm not a "Starbucks girl". She was extremely accommodating and she made my stay worth while with just a cup of coffee. Some people like simple things. She was extremely friendly and I highly recommend that she takes care of you during your next stay at the courtyard by Marriott. Friendly face, great attitude, a pleasure. Thank you Tish.
