The Carriage House Inn

Stayed here with my son, who was in Lynchburg for a swim meet. The unit was very clean, and the owners had it stocked with everything we needed! It was much larger than a hotel room, and having the kitchen area allowed us to make some quick meals at our home away from home. I would stay here again sometime!

The place was amazing, it's crazy to visit a house that was built in the 1800s. The service was amazing, meet the dog Lucy. Greeted me right before I was going to bed and was a patient and kind. Would love to come back with my group for the next men's conference.

Mike and Ruth have a beautiful home. The both of them made us feel very welcome, they checked on us to see if we needed anything. The old place has so much history, beautifully designed and so much information about the place. Places to eat within walking distance. Lucy the wonder pup is such a sweet and kind dog, she would come and visit very chill. Never once heard her bark. Strongly recommended staying at the carriage at least once. Plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen is set up for catering and large events. The landscaping is well kept, also has a pond and patio to sit and relax. I really enjoyed Mike showing us around his place and telling us about the history. Very very clean place. The group I was with loved everything about the place decently will stay there again. Thanks Mike and Ruth for opening up your home.

Experienced extremely rude phone conversation with a man at this place who was not interested in taking the time to help me understand their room rates and why their website said something different from what he thought it should. I wouldn't stay here if it was free!

Had an amazing trip with my boyfriend to visit family and friends. Beautiful historical home and the host are beyond superb. Its a home away from home! Loved it! Cant wait for many more trips and stay at this gorgeous and beautiful home.
