Hi Tonia,We understand that pricing is key when choosing where to shop, but we hope you will continue to see the benefit and value of shopping with Goodwill and supporting our mission. Increasing expenses in everyday supplies as well as facility maintenance and transportation/logistics costs directly impact our pricing. Trash disposal, fuel costs and building upkeep of our more than 40 locations have significantly increased over the past several years, and without adjustments to our pricing, these costs are not sustainable.Your feedback is noted about the bundling of items and we will pass the message on to management to review best practices. Trash disposal, fuel costs and building upkeep of our more than 40 locations have significantly increased over the past several years, and without adjustments to our pricing, these costs are not sustainable.Additionally, as we move to providing more virtual career services and programming in our communities, we must also incur increased expenses associated with the technology, systems, and training to do so.Lastly, and most importantly, increasing the hourly wages of our retail associates is a top priority - so much so that we've raised wages several times over the past three years for our front-line associates. With more than 1,350 associates across central and coastal Virginia, this is the greatest – and most critical – expense we have as an organization.As a nonprofit social enterprise, your purchases and donations help directly fund workforce development in central and coastal Virginia.
