Overall they are very nice and tried to take care of my dog as best as they could. Pet care is just so expensive in general, it's hard to find good care at a price that doesn't make you faint when you hear it.

My chihuahua and I moved out here from California a couple years back. Ashburn Veterinary Hospital was recommended by my landlord. All of the staff are wonderful and have taken the best care of my dog, the light of my life. While my chihuahua has always received dental care, the quality of the care she received at Ashburn Veterinary Hospital is better than anywhere Ive taken her before. After her first dental cleaning with them her teeth looked better than ever, and she had a remarkable improvement in her energy and playfulness. Even after moving further from Ashburn Veterinary Hospital I still go out of my way to bring her there because I know she is in good hands. My chihuahua is 14 going on 15.

I brought my dog here after he had been sneezing on and off for a few days. I thought it was allergies, but wanted to make sure it wasnt kennel cough. I had 4 phone calls with the office to schedule/confirm the appointment - never once did they mention it would be a no contact appointment. Had I known this information, I would not have brought my dog. It took over an hour, and funny enough after Dr. Jones examined my dog, he came outside to my car (both of us maskless) to chat with me for 10 minutes - so presumably the contactless visit isnt a covid concern. I dont understand why this conversation could not take place inside the office. Every patient who showed up after me was also taken inside the office by a vet tech even though I had expressed a preference to be with my dog during his appointment, I was not extended the same courtesy. $124 to confirm my suspicion that my dog has allergies, and he should take Benadryl.
