Applied for a Document Specialist II position. Got through the initial interview, paperwork, even the fingerprint process, yet was informed that the job was no longer available. Ok. Fast forward a few months later and a recruiter contacts me for another position. Get through the initial paperwork, say they'll contact me soon and...never hear from them again. I dont know what it is with this company. Maybe incompetence. Maybe discriminatory. I can't really say. Yet I agree with the other negative reviewers when they say this company is very unprofessional.

I was contacted by Linzie for a Document Specialist II position in D.C. and almost immediately got an interview with the hiring manager, Natasha, who was less than professional towards myself and Linzie. I nonetheless did the interview, and they sent me an offer letter the following week. I started going through the hiring process, including the background check and the drug screen. Then, I received a call from Linzie saying that the position details changed, meaning they would hire me at $3 less an hour. They also said I had to re-apply for the position. Seeing as how I need a job, I said of course I would do it, and Linzie said she would send me the application. To this day, she still has not sent me the job to apply for. The experience opened my eyes to how unprofessional PAE has been about hiring people such as myself. I advise against working with them, and if you do, advocate for yourself!

If I could rate this company zero stars then I would. It was possibly the worst work experience I've ever had. They don't value strong employees and keep dead weight around, which is one of the many examples of their poor management and financial decisions. Their HR is a joke and they don't abide by their own policies or even certain labor laws. Here's a great example: over 5 employees reported the same staff member for harassment, both verbal and physical, yet they kept this individual and moved around or fired those who complained. Mind you, this individual adds no real value to the company and is borderline incompetent. I'm grateful for this horrible experience because it forced me to jump to the other end of the spectrum where I'm working for one of the most established and world renowned companies. Avoid the heartache and do yourself a favor, and DO NOT WORK HERE!
