Great place to live. Friendly staff, great amenities and quick maintenance. Only reason for 4 stars is the floors are very thin and you can hear all movements from your upstairs neighbors. You can hear a lot of creaks, footsteps, closing of cabinets etc. Other than the noise from upstairs we really love our place- lots of space compared to nearby apartments. We are hoping to move to the top floor and then it will be a great fit!

Welcoming and very well maintained property that I was fortunate enough to find last minute. Moving is stressful as is but in a time crunch even more so. The ladies in the management office made the move as accommodating as possible with some minor mechanical issues beyond their control. I would give them ten stars if possible.

TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE - The garage has been BROKEN AND OPEN FOR WEEKS causing car break-ins - to which the office said "lock your car" instead of FIX THE PROBLEM. The elevators don't work every other day. The front desk cannot be bothered to look up from their phones to help you - as a resident. I had to physically go into the mail room and get my packages since the front desk would not. The leasing office has lied about events being held. The POLICE ARE HERE MONTHLY . The rent increases for NO REASON, they wont give you a reason when asked. Maintenance just "easy fixes" every problem you will have to call them back in 6 months. I have lived here for 5 years and at first it was great - but now, for the price (its alot) its absolute not worth it. Please look elsewhere.

Really not a bad place to live. The building is built well enough that you won't hear or smell respectful neighbors. I had an issue with a neighbor having late night raves that definitely soured me to the leasing office, as they were no help and eventually took her side because she could tug on their singlemom heartstrings. However, when surveying the space of possible apartments I can justify giving them a 4 star review by comparison. They didn't hassle me about the deposit after I moved out either. Lubber run down the street is a great place to stroll too. For the noise concerned: There is a psycho who drives his super loud motorcycle through the inner ring at 630am during nice weather, which was ultimately why I moved. I lived in 2 places here so I can warn you that if you live on the side of the building where trash is collected expect endless noise and bizarre tractor disruptions at 7:30 am as they drag the trash over the speed bumps via tractor. You might notice that all the AC units are there on Upton too making a bunch of noise, which doesn't quite drown out the batcave screeching of the garage door opening hundreds of times per day. I recommend avoiding the Upton side at all costs if you would like peace and quiet. If you can cover the drops for phone and cable they are not noise shielded (contractor error) and that is where the noise comes in from neighbor units. Literally just a square of putty over the phone jacks cut the noise in half. They do obsessively blow leaves around in 8 hours stretches, including some perplexing mid-winter days where the guys seem to not know what to do about the absence of leaves and just blow the topsoil off the flowerbeds instead for 8 hours.
