Rosslyn Heights

Overall, Im quite pleased with my living arrangement at Rosslyn Heights. The good: 1) Location. Its great having the proximity to two metro stations, plus lots of dining, bars, and bike trails nearby. 2) The units are spacious, and the sunroom is a real gem. If you work from home with any frequency, you couldnt ask for a better setup. 3) Staff are on-site and responsive. When Ive needed maintenance (which isnt often), Ive gotten same- or next-day service. 4) Every few months there are organized events to encourage people to meet their neighbors, which I appreciate. Where it could be better: 1) Cost. The rent alone is expensive, and then the fees add up. $150 annual amenity fee. $25 a month for a package delivery service, even if you never use it. (I receive maybe one package a month, so Im getting very poor value.) Utilities used to be metered; now theyre split across the whole building based on occupants and square footage, which increased my bill. 2) For what I pay, I would expect a few more services. Theres no visitor parking - I think they should allocate a few spaces and loan out passes. They dont accept packages (see above re: the delivery service), which my old place did. 3) There are some head-scratching clauses in the lease. Read it closely. Again, Im happy overall with my apartment. No place has everything, and here the benefits outweigh those few drawbacks. Im trying to provide an honest and holistic review in hopes it helps.

Rosslyn Heights is a really delightful community, with fantastic, clean apartments, and a great location that is walking distance to the metro and stores. The management team (Uliana and Jacob) and maintenance team (Lawrence, Kevin, Mike) are extremely responsive and care about the tenants' quality of life. I also am impressed with the upkeep of the property. Highly recommended!

So far the experience is good. The staff is lovely and the maintenance team is great and very responsive. Our elevator has been broken for months with no timeline of when it will be fixed.

Ive been at Rosslyn Heights for over 5 years and it has been a great experience. The leasing and maintenance staff are great to get to know and have all been here for years. Routine maintenance requests are completed within 24hrs and rent prices have gone up more reasonably compared to other buildings. Pool and gym are nice, and its great to find a balcony and front door that opens to the outside in Arlington!
