Two thumbs up for Velocity Bicycle Cooperative Del Ray location! A special shout out to Christian. He's a cycling wizard, very knowledgeable and friendly. Very fair prices and an very good selection of new and used cycling components and apparel. I highly recommend the Velocity Bicycle cooperative located in Del Ray.

Really helpful staff; Christian and Russell answered any questions I had and werent pushy at all. Good selection of great value, used bikes. Theyll do a quick mechanical check, and make sure the bike is good to go before sending you out the door with it

What a wonderful shop and a boon to the community. Really personable and friendly staff, great advice and a steal of prices. They fixed my tube with a broke valve, and a random part I needed (the one that keeps the wheel attached the frame, somewhat important) and I got a used phone holder for $35 bucks. Amazing. Highly recommend and Christian and Russel were lovely! Will definitely be back for the open workshops on Wednesday.

Christian was exceptional!
Not only did he address my issue, but he ordered the pieces I needed. Several minutes later he gave me a call telling me he found the pieces I needed there in the shop. To know he took the time to look brought a smile to my face. I came in and he pulled everything together and even did the install. Great service, great conversation, great sense of humor, an overall great experience!

I had the pleasure of needing Velocitys expertise today and Christian was a Godsend!! I had been riding my bike and my back tire just stopped working and I flew over my handlebars and had a pretty bad accident. I was banged up, bleeding and had just dragged my bike from the middle of Mt Vernon Ave to the store. Having a heavy bike I was also out of breath. But a nice young man named Alex brought it into the store for me and within 35 minutes my bike had been fixed, my seat was fixed, my front brakes were fixed, my tires inflated, and I couldnt have been more grateful. For anyone wondering about Velocity, I cannot recommend them enough! I ride my bike every day and I was despondent over the idea that it couldnt be fixed. Christian had a smile along with a first aid kit that he promptly brought out to provide me first aid supplies with and a cheerful attitude. You can tell that he enjoys what he does. So thank you Christian and Velocity Bikes.

P.S. since Google doesnt allow multiple reviews I just had to add to my existing one! Long story short- I ended up having to buy a new bike and Christian was nothing short of amazing and super helpful!! I cannot recommend Velocity enough!! Thank you again for everything!!
