this is the worst management team. If you bring a complaint to them, they are slow to respond and do not fix the issues right away. I have had several issues occurred with this team of managers
When you park your car in front just for few minutes to come get something from home they call for towing company right a way
I hope they are fast as some with everything

Hello, my name is Andrew and I've lived at the Alexander for about 3 years. I woke up at approximately 8:45 am to my kitchen floor drenched with water from my refrigerator. Once I opened the door, I realized my food was starting to spoil and defrost. I waited til 9 am, that is when the office was open. I spoke with Ulises around 9:05 am to express my concern about my refrigerator as well as with a young with glasses. My first question was do you guys reimburse me for my food that is going bad in the refrigerator? Her response was "No", and I said "OK". Then Ulises told me that someone would be up there in about 5 minutes. Once the maintenance man got there after analyzing the situation he said "He will be right back" I waited for an 1 hour and a half and still didn't hear anything so I went back to speak with Ulises and he had a very confused look on his face and he didn't have an update. It's like he didn't even care that I didn't have a working refrigerator. I lost money, my food, and lost wages simply because of bad communication. After expressing my concerns, I get a 30-day notice to move out. This is totally unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Based on google reviews I'm not the only person that is feel that the management team sucks. This whole situation has added so much unnecessary stress. This place needs new management ASAP.

I was a resident at the Alexander apartments for almost 4 years. Unfortunately, the place has really gone downhill this past two years. Although the front desk staff are generally friendly, Grady management is incompetent. The following are the major issues that I experienced as a resident. I unfortunately do not recommend this apartment complex.
1. Vehicle Break Ins: My vehicle was broken into twice over the course of the past two years. The photos were taken from my dash cam that recorded the most recent incident, which resulted in a broken glove box - a $1500 repair that cant even be done due to the parts no longer being available. Both times I filed a police report but management was not interested in reviewing footage nor making any changes to increase the security of the property. Several of my neighbors also reported having their vehicles broken into. When I attempted to make a post on the internal community wall multiple times to bring attention to the issue, the staff refused to post it. Despite having these type of individuals in our community, management continues to do nothing regarding our security.
2. Unresponsive staff: although the staff are generally friendly, they are very unresponsive to emails. Ive had luck engaging them in person, but most of my emails to them went unanswered.
3. Water pressure issues: There have been constant water pressure issues in the building this past year. there have been countless times where maintenance shut water to the entire building for several hours at a time at the last minute to perform necessary repairs. This has resulted in numerous times where I was caught off guard by the lack of water.
4. Marijuana: although this community is advertised at smoke free, there are many residents who willingly smoke marijuana in their rooms and around the building, resulting in a marijuana smell coming through the vents. Despite numerous complaints being made to the leasing office, the staff dont seem to be very interested in addressing this issue.

*Edit 2/7/24: Now we (the residents) are dealing with weekly water shut offs that have only begun occurring within the past 9 months. Save yourself the inevitable headaches youll get dealing with this incompetent company and go elsewhere.*
The property manager cannot be trusted. She has shown nothing but complete and utter disrespect for residents since she started. She hides behind a computer, sending email after threatening email but will refuse to speak with residents face-to-face. She posted arbitrary, condescending Word documents in the gym about weight control and no guests or outside personal trainers, but she has trained outside clients in the gym and left business cards on a common area table for a gym where she works. She threatens legal action against pet owners whose animals have had accidents in common areas, to take away amenity access, and to have residents towed from Future Resident parking spots, but she parks there. There is a whole garage full of spots where she could park. The hypocrisy is intolerable. Half of the elevators were down for an entire weekend and there was not one ounce of communication from her about it. One elevator is still down as I type this. Have we had an update? Not one. She is nothing but disrespectful and has created a hostile environment between the leasing office and the residents (she yelled at me personally last week), which is the veritable opposite of what it was before she got there. She is fundamentally not a good fit at The Alexander. She doesnt understand (or care!) that shes dealing with people and their homes, and that you have to give respect to get respect. Its unacceptable and untrustworthy behavior, and not anything youd find at any class A properties right around them - what The Alexander used to be before she got here.
