Southern Comfort Care at the Cottages

I brought my Dad to Southern Comfort in November 2022 for respite care. Kyle was very easy to work with, and helpful in getting my dad inside the home and settled into his room. Ashley was his caretaker and my siblings and I adored her. She was so sweet and wanted everything to be just right for my dad's comfort and care. She, along with my dad's hospice team, kept us informed on his care and health. They provide home cooked meals and lots of personal attention. My dad's health was declining so he couldn't verbalize his needs; Ashley didn't wait to be told what to do. She gave him drinks, fluffed his pillow, kept his blanket on him, combed his hair and watched TV with him in his room. Because of my dad's poor health, we felt it best to keep him at Southern Comfort even after my return home. He passed away the following day. We feel very blessed to have stumbled across Southern Comfort. They were personable and kind, professional and caring. We would highly recommend them to anyone seeking care for a loved one. They are reasonably priced too, another bonus! Melanie

Southern Comfort is a phenominal facility. The owner Kyle is so easy to work with. Our father's caregiver Rachael is top notch and really cares about the people she takes care of. The facility is very family friendly and we were able to have all the grandchildren visit.I would highly reccomend.

When my Mom needed assisted living care, Southern Comfort Care was ready to welcome here. The caregivers, nurses were amazing. They were positive, upbeat, and always helpful. The food was great. The staff took the time to get to know my mom and treated her with kindness and respect. The homes were kept clean. I feel so lucky that Southern Comfort Care was available for my mom.

An absolutely wonderful place. Moved my mother here from a larger, glitzy Senior Living facility where she was floundering. The owner was so informative and so helpful we knew the decision was the right one. Once at Southern Comfort, she blossomed and thrived. Small, intimate place where it is very clear that the staff truly care about the residents and treat them as they would treat their own family. They were able to support her completely as her dementia progressed, until she passed. Would highly recommend Southern Comfort for anyone needing an assisted living or memory unit facility.
