image The actual apartments are cute and great but management is subpar. They are super super disorganized- theres a lot of turnover so things get lost really easily. Moving out was a huge pain. If I knew how difficult it would be to move out and all the things we had to deal with after, I would not choose to live here.

image The units are nice but the management really sucks. We were really shocked when they told us the only bill we had to pay was for electric. But 6 months later the heating company left us a notice, that theyll shut off the gas if we dont pay. I called them up to find out we were supposed to be paying for gas the whole time. But management never gave us any information about how to pay the gas company (dominion energy) or that they existed. Not the biggest deal because we worked it out. I went down to the office to explain to them that they forgot to include that bit of info when I moved in, and asked was there any other utilities that I need to pay for besides the gas and electricity. Office told me no. After living there for 10 months the office puts a notice on my door saying we havent been paying for sewage and trash this entire time! Its unbelievable the amount of ignorance these guys had. Another issue I had with them is to park in the very small lot they have you needed a sticker other wise you would get towed. And you were only allowed one car. But management would always park their cars right next to the door so 3-4 stalls were being used by them. Im am just astonished with how much information they left out when we moved in. So many times we were corrected on a rule or policy that they failed to bring up originally. The last thing is that if you plan to get your deposit back, good luck. Its not the most money, but its just frustrating that you never even have the chance to get it back. My apartment was disgusting when we moved in. Clogged drains grease my cabinets that were failed to be wiped down, tons of chipped paint on the cabinetry. Broken blinds, cracked windows, animal hair around the edges of the carpet, leaky sinks, burnt ends in the oven, one of our smoke alarms was even expired. They just did the absolute bare minimum of cleaning, a little vacuuming and wiping the counters. It was really gross. They did how ever paint the walls before we moved in which was nice, but you could tell they there was multiple multiple coats of paint underneath as if they just slap a new coat on every time there is a new tenant. But the catch with that is they dont cover the floors well enough, so theres a bunch of little white paint drips all over the floor. After all of this, we did are absolute best t leaving the place 100% better than we got it. They charged us an extra fee after a month of being fully moved out, on top of taking the deposit. The bill was $100 to paint the place again and $120 to have it cleaned. So they kept the deposit and charged us more. I guarantee they do this to every tenant.

image Keena is the main manager here and has been for 10 years. She is near impossible to get by phone or email and I constantly have to come down everyday in person to move anything along. She does not respond and I have no idea what is going on with my application. Often the staff is very forgetful and you have to be the squeaky wheel to get the grease, I mean constantly. I am still confused about where my application is at. I paid the 35 dollar application fee and applied and everything, even had a back up plan for my bishop to pay and all the sudden they stop communicating, after taking the fee and my social and everything else. The whole thing has been terrible and I am about ready to give up on it. The only thing appealing about it is the fact that the rent is like 800 plus utilities but everything else feels like a scam. I am so frustrated with the process. It is probably really nice once they select you but the application process is murder. I am about ready to give up. If anything changes in a positive way I will change my review. But for now, 1 star.
Edit: It looks like all the 4 star reviews are staff or previous staff. Everyone else gave this place 1 star. I would love for my money to be refunded to me and my social and stuff to be removed from this company. Willing to call the owners of the management company and explain all the ridiculousness.
